I grew up outside the walls of the kingdom in a battle zone. Thus, I determined that my children would reside behind the walls of a loving fortress. Our family castle withstands the storms of life and keeps us cozy. Praise God, home is a blessing.
p.s. Currently we have "Castle Fever" as we reside behind closed doors in the midst of the fire zone here in CA. Please pray for us. Stop by and see me at wisteriaandroses.blogspot.com

I found your blog this morning!! I am so excited about it. You and Clay have been so instrumental in our homeschool and our vision in parenting. Thank you! I posted about my finding your blog on my blog today.

Sally, I've been catching up on your last few posts and as always come away encouraged! (Ironically, "Seasons" is on my nightstand, and "Wholehearted Discipline" is in the bathroom--it seems that Clarkson books are read everywhere in my house!)
Thank you for taking the time to write on your blog and for all the many sacrifices you make to pour into the hearts of mothers. Your words continue to challenge and change me, and I'm so glad you have a blog where I can tell you so!
Blessings to you this Monday night :)

i just finished The Ministry of Motherhood and it has radically changed my perspective on my life's goal of being a 'good mom'. for so long i have been looking for my ministry, a way to give back...all along it was by my side asking for fruit snacks & juice! more thoughts on my blog.
thanks for being a true inspiration! i can't wait to read your other books & thoughts!
